As a participant of the Tai Chi Natural Health
Club, you can enjoy the numerous services and the guided instruction you
need to achieve a balanced lifestyle. You can choose the branches that
best suit you. There are no contracts to sign. Here's what the Tai Chi
Natural Health Club offers:
- Tai
Chi Chuan and Chi Kung: Combines
the health benefits of exercise and the self-awareness of meditation,
and satisfaction of an art. The movements are slow and graceful and
lead to a relaxed state of mind. The exercises emphasize inner awareness,
not outer strength. Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung are easily incorporated
into daily life. Whatever your age or physical condition, you will surely
feel the benefits of Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung.
- Nutrition:
Traditional Chinese Medicine places great importance on a proper diet
and a strong digestive system. Life is dependent upon consuming and
metabolizing food and drink. The quality, amount, and timing of our
intake have a tremendous influence on our health; many diseases are
the result of years of poor eating habits. That is why dietary consultations
are available to members of the Tai Chi Natural Health Club.
- Acupuncture:
Traditional Chinese Medicine views the human body as an "interior
landscape," with an interconnected system of "rivers" or meridians
that nourish and support the internal organs. When this system is abundant
with free-flowing chi, you flourish. If the rivers are blocked, or run
dry, pool up or stagnate, you may experience pain, discomfort and acute
or chronic illness. The acupuncturist's job is to "read" the
terrain of your body's landscape, then carefully decipher the root cause
of the disharmony. Thin, disposable stainless steel needles are inserted
into acupuncture points, which invigorate the body's chi and bring balance
and harmony to the landscape.
- Medicinal
Herbs: Much of the world's population relies
on traditional herbal medicine. In fact, modern pharmacology draws from
the roots of herbal medicine. Herbs, in their natural state, are like
whole foods, which affect the body through nourishment and assimilation.
With proper diagnosis, Chinese herbs can complement or provide an alternative
to Western drugs.
